Multi-Cultural Day 26 Jan 2014 – (Update)

28 January 2014

What a great day yesterday for the inaugural Seddon CC Multicultural Day? Great work by many volunteers. What were your highlights?

Some that spring to mind were the fantastic Bendigo Bank marquee, Tzamba’s marinated lamb gyros, Matt Rae not coping with all the requests for lamb gyros’, Chris Weitzel being a pest all day, Vinny Iyer’s big hitting & 4 for 5 in one over, John Taylor’s one handed boundary catch, Brendan Major telling Leigh Davies to be right on the boundary cone even though the ball went 20 feet over the cone for 6 (go figure!), Charlie Carey bunting a certain 4 while square leg umpiring, Harro burning Tim Grant, Rowey’s 6, the great assistance & multicultural foods from all the volunteers, the President’s moving speech, the flavours within all the multicultural dinners
